*WARNING - LIGHT EMITS INTENSE ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT. SHIELD EYES AND SKIN FROM LIGHT SOURCE. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!
DANGER - Connect to FUSED 12volt DC power source. Non-fused installation could result in FIRE, PROPERTY DAMAGE, or INJURY. PHONE JACK model does NOT have built-in fuse. CONNECT TO FUSED CIRCUIT ONLY. 1 amp fuse is sufficient for 1 light (5 amp max. per light). NEVER CONNECT TO AC POWER.
DANGER / MANDATORY! TURN MOONlite OFF when under way. Law states when craft is under way between sunset and sunrise, no light shall be displayed that could be mistaken for, or interfere with view of navigation lights. Light could rotate and interfere with driver's vision.
CAUTION! - DON’T RESTRICT AIRFLOW. High performance LEDs generate heat. The housing serves as a heat sink and is designed for minimum size while providing sufficient cooling. Depending on air flow, temperature and length of ON time, the housing could reach average temperatures of 125F. Light should turn OFF at 140F and turn back ON when case cools sufficiently. If unit becomes excessively hot, thermal protection components are defective. If case temperature goes above 140F, turn off immediately and return for replacement. Hold light by plastic ends when hot.
DON’T TWIST LIGHT TO RELEASE SUCTION CUPS! Lift edge of suction cups to release vacuum before attempting to remove light. Failure to release vacuum may result in broken phone jack connector. Broken connector is NOT covered under warranty.
DON’T store in damp compartments or airtight containers.
DON’T disassemble. Electronic components may be damaged by touch. Disassembly voids warranty.
DON’T store near SALTY lures. Salt will corrode aluminum housing and power connections. Not recommended for saltwater use.
DON'T break glass lens. Broken lens voids warranty. Beware of broken glass.
PHONE JACK - Install suction cups into nuts in T-slots. Remove dust and debris from cups and mounting surface. Place light into jack, taking care to hold light so connectors are properly aligned while pressing down to attach suction cups. Improper alignment or uneven pressure can break male connector. Adjust suction cup height so male connector is seated. Male connector may be slightly raised from fully seated position but no more than .100”. Depending on female connector height, it may be necessary to remove hex nut and shorten stud length or extend cup out as far as possible. Facing rear of light, main power switch for FULL MOON is a 2 way switch on left end. Toggling switch down turns on blacklight only. Toggling up turns on blacklight and visible light. HALF MOON switch is 1 way on or off. Visible light adjustment switch is on right end. Toggling up sets visible light high, toggling down sets it low.
LIGHTER PLUG - Install stud mount suction cups into T-slot nuts. Fuse located inside lighter plug. Switch operation same as phone jack model.
COMMERCIAL - Acquire/install heat insulating handle for hand held applications. Fabricate custom hardware for permanent mounting. Cooling air circulation is required. T-slot nuts are size 8x32. Supply unit with regulated 12 to 13 volt DC.
